Grouply for Education
Grouply has long been a favorite tool in the education community. Teachers, parents, and students use Grouply social groups to collaborate and share information with each other. Grouply for Education, announced here, is a special package of premium services offered at no charge to qualifying education groups such as schools, classrooms, and parent-teacher associations (PTAs).
We designed Grouply for Education specifically to meet the needs of teachers and educators. Grouply provides a rich feature set with dozens of applications to help parents, teachers, and students communicate and collaborate online, yet it is remarkably simple to configure and easy to use.
Every Grouply social group includes a customizable community website, event management, discussion forums, an activity feed, Facebook integration, unlimited group members, 10 GB storage for photos and other content, and an app store with dozens of useful applications. In addition, Grouply for Education includes the following premium services:
- No advertising
- Unlimited custom pages
- Grouply Analytics
- All premium Grouply applications
- 20 GB storage
To get Grouply for Education, you must first create a Grouply social group and then upgrade it using a special promotion code. Here’s how:
- Create a Grouply social group for your school, classroom, or PTA and go to your social group’s home page on Grouply.
- On the right-hand side under About This Site, click “Upgrade”. You will be taken to the Select a Subscription page.
- Under Price and Billing Options , click “enter promo code”, enter “546a98f4″ (without quotes) and click Apply. The page will update to show an Education plan for free.
- In the Education plan column, click Upgrade. You will be taken to the Confirm Purchase page showing “$0.00 for 12 months”
- In the “Enter Password” field, enter your Grouply password and click Purchase.
That’s it! You will be taken back to your group’s home page where it will now say “Education Plan” under About This Site.
