So what’s this contest all about?
As you know, your Grouply experience gets better as more of your fellow group members use Grouply. To celebrate spring (in the northern hemisphere, anyway), we are offering a special additional incentive for you to invite others to Grouply. We’re holding a “referral contest” with some great prizes – two Nintendo Wii game systems and two iPod Touch music players. The more people you tell about Grouply by May 31, 2008, the more chances you have to win!
How do I invite people to Grouply and get credit for the referral?
Grouply offers a number of tools to help you easily invite others to Grouply so you can maximize your chance of winning! Login to Grouply and click the Invite to Grouply link in the upper right of any page. There you have three options for inviting others to Grouply:
- Invite My Groups - Post a message to one or more of your groups telling them about Grouply.
- Find Friends - Import contacts from your online address book.
- Invite Friends - Invite friends by directly entering their email addresses.
How does the contest work? Who gets what?
You get one entry in the contest for each person you invite to Grouply who signs up by May 31, 2008. In addition, each person who signs up by May 31, 2008 gets one entry for herself and each person she refers. So if you refer Sue and 499 other new users to Grouply, you get 500 entries and Sue gets one. If Sue goes on to refer 99 more new users, she gets a total of 100 entries.
The contest ends at 11:59pm PST on May 31, 2008. At that time, the two people who have earned the most contest entries will win an iPod Touch and a Nintendo Wii. (The person with the most entries gets first choice.) Then we will randomly select two additional winners from all the entries. Anyone with at least one entry can win, though obviously the more entries you have, the better your chances!
I want to win bad. How can I see how well I’m doing?
You can track how well you’re doing anytime, right from within Grouply. Click the Home tab to get to your home page. Look for the “Grouply Spring Contest” box on the left-hand side. In it you’ll see how many contest entries you’ve earned so far. And remember, the more entries you earn, the greater your chance of winning!
